Coating services

PVC coating and polyethylene coating.

Material and process selection based on the component, operating requirement and acceptance criteria.

01

PVC coating

Flexible protective coating

PVC Coating

A flexible polymer layer for electrical insulation, surface protection, cushioning and improved handling.

PVC coating is suited to metal components used in electroplating, anodising and general engineering. Coating thickness, hardness, colour, masking and cure conditions are selected according to component geometry and the customer’s functional requirement.

Typical benefits

  • Electrical insulation
  • Moisture and surface protection
  • Improved grip and safer handling
  • Cushioning and impact protection
  • Smooth, durable finish

Typical applications

  • Electroplating jigs and fixtures
  • Anodising jigs and fixtures
  • Contact frames and inner racks
  • Hooks, grids and support parts
  • Handles and custom fabrications
Technical note

A typical target coating build for suitable applications is approximately 1.0–1.5 mm. Final thickness and any electrical rating must be agreed against the component, process and defined test method.

02

Polyethylene

Tough, smooth protection

Polyethylene Coating

A durable polymer coating for fabricated wire products, baskets, racks and handling components.

Polyethylene coating provides a smooth, washable and corrosion-resistant layer. It is well suited to wire forms and fabricated components where appearance, protection and handling are important.

Typical benefits

  • Tough protective layer
  • Moisture and corrosion resistance
  • Smooth, washable surface
  • Improved appearance and handling
  • Application-appropriate colour options

Typical applications

  • Industrial cleaning baskets
  • Material-handling baskets
  • Kitchen and utility baskets
  • Freezer and storage baskets
  • Wire racks, trays and guards
Design note

Drainage, hole size, wire spacing, weld condition and geometry influence coating build. Early review is recommended where openings, threads, contact points or close tolerances must remain clear.
